Bobby Tinsley is an amazing artist who entered the music world in 2004 with his self-produced album of all original songs, "Page 1." The album spawned the top 40 CCHR radio hit "Addicted," and also included the fan favorites “Never Give Up On Love,” and “You Moved On,” as well as the heartfelt ballad “Won't Back Down Again,” which features a duet with number one jazz saxophonist, Eric Darius. His new album “What About Bob – The Extended Version” is a double disc project containing 27 songs, some of which he recorded in 2008, and some brand new sure fire hits. The album is slated for release later this year through an exclusive deal with Wal-Mart.
Bobby has built a considerable buzz and following, with almost 1.5 million page views and more than 3.6 million plays of his music on his MySpace page. He has received thousands of letters, comments and messages from young and old, male and female alike, who are anxiously awaiting the release of his new project. He has some of the most loyal fans in the world who adore his music, to the extent that they have made more than 280 different YouTube videos with their own versions of his songs. The total plays of these videos – driven completely by his fans - are more than 5 million.
Since his debut album's release, Bobby has graced stages across the country, pouring out his heart one note and line at a time. He is a spell-binding live performer, and his ability to transfer human emotion into words that we all can sing and relate to is nothing short of extraordinary. He is an epic songwriter and producer, with a song catalogue that continues to grow every day. In May of 2008, he inked a deal with the newly formed Jean Rah Fya Records. Jean Rah Fya Records is owned by Doug and Jackie Christie, a NBA veteran and BET reality show stars.
Bobby is also quite business savvy. He has his own production company, More Than Hype Music LLC, which he runs with his production partner, music industry veteran Delgado Cooke. He also has experience in modeling, and is currently preparing for his move into the acting world as well. He is more than a triple threat; Bobby Tinsley is truly extraordinary.
"What About Bob- the Extended Version" promises to be one of the best R&B releases of 2009, and is sure to become a favorite for anyone who loves great vocals, catchy songs and inspiring lyrics!
